Reserve rolls past Lisbon into District Finals

The Blue Devils advance to face Jackson-Milton in the Division IV District Finals Wednesday at 4PM at Cene Park.

Western Reserve rolled past Lisbon 6-1 in the Division IV District Semifinals at Cene Park Tuesday afternoon.

STRUTHERS, Ohio (WKBN) – Western Reserve rolled past Lisbon 6-1 in the Division IV District Semifinals at Cene Park Tuesday afternoon.

Jeep DiCioccio went 1-2 with an RBI and 2 runs scored, while Dom Velasquez, Jacob Clark, and Drew Slaven also drove in runs in the victory.

DiCioccio (4-0) picked up the win on the mound, tossing 7 innings allowing just 1 unearned run on 2 hits, with 2 strikeouts.

Lisbon’s season comes to an end with a record of 13-7.

Western Reserve improves to 19-6 overall on the campaign.  The Blue Devils advance to face Jackson-Milton in the Division IV District Finals Wednesday at 6:30PM at Cene Park.
