Proposals being accepted for Hughes Mansion in Warren

Bidding is now open on the structure, with the hopes that a developer will renovate it

The old Hughes Mansion on North Park in Warren still sits in disrepair, more than a year after plans to renovate it.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Trumbull County Land Bank has taken back one of its former properties and is now looking for someone else to develop it.

Plans to renovate the old Hughes Mansion on North Park Ave in Warren fell through after it was purchased for just $1 by the AMG Foundation.

The Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership has ownership of the building again, but the historical home is still in disrepair. Bidding is now open on the structure, with the hopes that a developer will renovate it.

The property is located at 634 North Park Ave. in Warren.

Investors are invited to submit a development proposal, including a description of the proposed end-use, renovation specifications and investor qualifications.
