Devin Telego, of Austintown, pleaded not guilty to hurting a 3-month-old baby.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – An Austintown man’s bond was set at $100,000 in a child endangering case from January.

Devin Telego, 21, pleaded not guilty to hurting a three-month-old child.

Doctors at St. Elizabeth Heath Center said the baby was taken to the hospital unconscious. An Austintown police report stated that his brain was bleeding.

Prosecutors say the child suffered serious head injuries and may be disabled. Police said doctors believed the child’s injuries were intentionally caused by Telego.

Initially, he told investigators he was playing with the baby and bouncing him on his knee.

Telego’s trial is set to take place in late June.
