Man charged with attempted kidnapping in Canfield pleads not guilty

Darryl Adams pleads not guilty to an attempted abduction in Canfield.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man accused of trying to kidnap and assault a Canfield woman remains jailed after pleading not guilty in court Tuesday morning.

Darryl Lamor Adams is charged with sexual imposition and attempted abduction.

Prosecutors say he approached the victim as she was taking out her trash on Indian Run Drive. They say he tried to push his way into her apartment, grabbing at her clothing.
