Storm Team 27: Hot and humid to kick off the Holiday weekend

Youngstown, Ohio weather forecast spring day flowers

Saturday:   Partly sunny.  Chance for afternoon showers or T-Storms.  (30%)
High:   87

The heat and humidity have led to the develpoment a Thunderstorm in northern Mercer County. Pop up showers have also continued to develope throughout Trumbull and Mercer counties. Those showers will continue to move north as we go through the afternoon. With the exception of a stray shower, most of us in Mahoning and Columbiana counties have been dry today. We will continue to watch these storms but do not expect any severe threat at this time.

The chance for showers or storms will taper off Saturday evening.  Look for another round of showers or storms into Sunday afternoon with Highs in the Low 80s. For our Memorial Day Holiday, expect partly sunny skies with Highs near 80.

For the remainder of the week expect Highs in the Low to Mid 80s with a new chance for a shower and thunderstorms coming Thursday. Until then, partly sunny skies from Monday through Wednesday.
