District 10 Region 2 High School Football

2016 District 10 Region 2 Football Prepper
This Fall, Region 2 will feature six schools from Class AA (Greenville, Lakeview, Mercer, Reynolds, Sharpsville, Wilmington) and three from Triple A (Hickory, Sharon, Slippery Rock).

Three of the nine members finished with double digit wins in 2015 (Sharpsville, Sharon, Hickory). Over the years, a team from this grouping has won the last eleven District 10 Class AA Championships while Sharpsville and Lakeview have won four of the last five District 10 Class A titles.

Just to give you another example of how dominant this field has been recently – since 2005 – there has been at least one team out of this bunch who has advanced to the Western Finals of the State Tournament in all but three years (2010, 2012, 2015).
