MASURY, Ohio – Charles “Charlie” Costea, 28, passed away after an extended illness on Sunday morning, May 29, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland, OH.

Charlie was born on December 28, 1987 in Sharon, PA, the son of Charles Costea and Wanda (Yount) Dejulia.

He was a 2008 graduate of Sharon High School and found employment as a Professional DJ.

He was a former member of GOA Productions and traveled all over the United States playing his music.

He was an avid lover of all music and collected all types of albums. Charlie was a loving and caring person and cared for everyone met. He had a positive attitude about life, a magnetic personality, and always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed being outdoors and going hiking. He loved spending time with his family and friends, whether playing music, traveling, or spending time at home.

Charlie will be deeply missed by his parents, Charles Costea of Masury and Wanda Dejulia of Sharon; his two sisters, Nicole (Anthony) Costea Watkins of South Pymatuning and Desiree Dejulia of Sharon; and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-mom, Lois Costea.

A celebration of life for Charlie will be held on Saturday June 4, 2016 at 7:00PM at Lane Family Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel located at 6923 Warren Sharon Road Brookfield, OH 44403. Family will receive relatives and friends from 5-7:00PM before the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made in Charlie’s name to the American Cancer Society.
