OVI checkpoint to be held in Mahoning County Friday

Saturation patrols will be ongoing throughout the weekend

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County OVI Task Force announced that an OVI checkpoint will be held in Mahoning County on Friday, June 3.

A roadside check of drivers for alcohol and drug impairment will be conducted, and saturation patrols will be ongoing throughout the weekend.

More details for the checkpoint, including the time and location, will be announced at a later time.

Support in operating the sobriety checkpoint is being provided by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Ohio Department of Transportation, Mahoning Safe Communities and Mahoning County EMA
