Youngstown priest recovering after motorcycle crash

Father Greg Maturi was released from the hospital Thursday afternoon

A truck and motorcycle collided on Market Street in front of the Wendy's.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown priest has been identified as the victim in a motorcycle crash Wednesday on Market Street.

Father Greg Maturi, of St. Dominic’s Church, was involved in the accident around 3 p.m. Investigators said Maturi, who was driving a motorcycle, was struck by a truck driver, who was pulling into the Wendy’s restaurant parking lot.

Maturi was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. He was released Thursday afternoon with minor injuries and a slight concussion.

Maturi was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The truck driver was not injured.
