YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Columbiana County man has been indicted on several charges related to numerous burglaries and break-ins in the area.

Ralph Goad, 52, is charged with five counts of breaking and entering, nine counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.

Police arrested Goad after alleging that officers caught him breaking into Sam’s Wedge Inn on Raccoon Road. He was charged with breaking and entering and possessing criminal tools in relation to that burglary.

Investigators said Goad confessed to a slew of break-ins dating back to February. They said the crimes were committed to feed his heroin addiction.

Police said that additional charges were expected to be forthcoming in relation to the other burglaries.
