Man taken to hospital after being shot in Youngstown

Police were searching for bullets and other evidence at the scene Friday night

A man was taken to the hospital after being shot in the leg.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police are investigating a shooting that happened on the city’s west side Friday night.

Just after 10 p.m., a 30-year-old man was shot three times at his home on Butler Avenue, twice in the leg and once in the arm.

Police think he may have been shot near a parked car. Police found a shell casing in the driveway and a bullet hole in the parked car.

Police have yet to identify the shooter.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
