CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – Campbell Police arrested two men that they said robbed a man living in a Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Kirwan Homes.

The robbery was reported on May 5 by the alleged victim, who told police he reported the robbery a day later because he believed his life was in danger.

The man told police that around 8 a.m. the previous night, Tavon Fulton and Earl Marlowe robbed him of $200 by gunpoint. He said after the men took the cash, Fulton then fired the handgun toward him, striking the Jackson Street building.

Police did not recover any shell casings, but neighbors reported hearing gunshots that night.

The alleged victim told police a woman called him earlier in the day, saying he may have been part of a “set up.”

Fulton was arrested at a Youngstown home at 11:45 a.m. Thursday. A handgun with its serial number scratched off was found in the home, and it was taken as evidence, according to a police report.

Marlowe was arrested earlier that day.

Both men are charged with aggravated robbery.
