Police looking for man who robbed Grove City gas station

Police are looking for this man, who they say robbed a Grove City gas station.

GROVE CITY, Pa. (WKBN) – Police are looking for a man who robbed a Marathon Service Station in Grove City on Tuesday.

At 1:01a.m., the man entered the business on S. Center Street Ext., pointing a handgun. Police said he took cash and a carton of cigarettes before running away to a car, parked at the edge of the parking lot.

The getaway vehicle was seen driving west on State Route 208 and south on Interstate 79 after the robbery.

Police said the robber did not wear a mask. He was described as a heavy-set white man, approximately 5’7″ tall and 230 to 250 pounds. He is believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s and had a short buzz cut-style haircut and blonde or light brown hair.

Those with information on the man are asked to call the Pennsylvania State Police at 724-662-6162.
