Warren Police: Man gets away after jumping out of car, assaulting woman

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Police are looking for a man who they say assaulted a woman in Warren Thursday evening.

Officers arrived to the scene on North Park Avenue and Hall Street around 7 p.m.

The victim told officers that a man jumped out of a red, two-door Grand Am and hit her in the face with something.

She said she didn’t know who he was, but described him as a large white male, wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, jeans and a black baseball hat.

Officers observed a laceration and bruising around the woman’s eye.

The woman was transported to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment.
