Sharon Police and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Officers will be on patrol to enforce safety regulations

The Small Ships Revue returns to Sharon with big changes.

SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – The Small Ships Revue returns to downtown Sharon on Saturday but this year, several changes will go into effect.

The family-friendly event hasn’t taken place in three years. The Small Ships Revue features amateur builders and their boats.

There will be no parade and no roads will be closed. Police say no one is allowed to block traffic on the bridges.

Fireworks and alcohol are banned from the event. The only place people will be allowed to drink is on Quaker Steak & Lube property.

Sharon Police and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission Officers will be on patrol to enforce these safety regulations.

Registration begins at noon and the ships will set sail at 2 p.m.
