Strawberry festival marks beginning of Celebrate Poland weekend

Celebrate Poland continues Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Strawberry Festival kicked off the Celebrate Poland weekend.

POLAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Poland is celebrating 150 years this weekend with several fun activities.

The Celebrate Poland event started Friday evening with the 66th annual Strawberry Festival at Poland Presbyterian Church.

The Strawberry Festival was the biggest summer event in Poland for some time. The parade was added and ten years ago, the Celebrate Poland weekend formed.

Celebrate Poland continues Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. A plaque commemorating Poland’s 150 years will get the day started, and a fireworks show will end the night.
