COLUMBIANA CO., Ohio (WKBN) – A man accused in the beating death of 33-year-old Quinn Wilson was sentenced 18 years to life in prison.
According to the prosecutor’s office, 56-year-old Daniel Landsberger pleaded guilty to two counts of tampering with evidence, one count of abuse of corpse and murder. He requested a sentence on Monday after the plea.
Police say Landsberger robbed Wilson before the killing. He then cut his body in two and hid the remains in woods off of Siefler Road in Wayne Township.
Danielle Heckathorn, 29, is also charged in the case. Police say she helped Landsberger rob Wilson.
Her trial is set for September.
