COLUMBUS, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ohio Department of Transportation is offering a new tool to help drivers be more aware of traffic conditions.
This Fourth of July weekend is predicted to have the highest traffic volume on record, with 1.8 million drivers on the road, according to AAA.
ODOT’s new mobile app, OHGO, is launching just in time for the busy holiday. The app sends personal traffic alerts, construction and travel delay information, and hands-free voice on the go. It is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
ODOT hopes the app will help drivers get to where they need to be quickly and safely, during the holiday weekend and long afterward.
