FOWLER TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals arrested a Youngstown woman, who is accused of stealing oxycodone from a relative with stage four cancer.

Police said Pamela Austin, 59, went to the relative’s house in Fowler Township on Wednesday around 3 p.m. The relative was not home at the time, but two other people who lived there answered the door.

They told police that Austin went upstairs, where the relative keeps her medication. When they asked her to come back downstairs, they said her hands were clenched into fists.

One of the residents struggled with Austin and was able to take back some of the pills, but she fled with the rest, according to a police report.

Austin was arrested the next day around 1:30 p.m. and is charged with robbery.
