WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBN) – The Republican National Convention is just about two weeks away now.
Former GOP candidate, Dr. Ben Carson, has agreed to speak at the RNC in Cleveland.
CNN reports that Donald Trump called Carson and asked him to talk at the convention. Trump has turned to his family, sports figures and business leaders to fill speaking slots.
It’s all after prominent Republican leaders have refused to line-up behind the controversial nominee-to-be, including the past two Republican presidential nominees Mitt Romney and Senator John McCain.
Some say they won’t even be at the RNC.
