Accused Youngstown bank robbers appear in court

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The two men who prosecutors say held up a Youngstown bank branch remain locked up in jail after appearing in court Tuesday morning.

Ricky Gonzalez and Michael Zarlingo were indicted last month in connection to the armed robbery of the PNC Bank branch on Meridian Road in April. The suspects were arrested a couple days later at the Mountaineer Casino in West Virginia.

On Tuesday, both men pleaded not guilty. They each remain jailed on a $200,000 bond.
