Shooting injures 1 in New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (WKBN) – A shooting in New Castle sent one person to the hospital with a gunshot wound Tuesday night.

It happened at W. North Street and Lowry Street just before 8:30 p.m., according to Lawrence County Dispatch.

Police have not identified the victim or how badly they are hurt.

Officers were still on the scene investigating Tuesday night.

No arrests have been made yet.

Police are expected to release more details on the shooting on Wednesday afternoon.
