Vince Flask sworn in as Warren city auditor

The auditor handles purchase orders and payroll for the city

Vincent S. Flask took the oath of office Tuesday afternoon.

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren’s new auditor is ready to make some changes in how the office operates.

Vincent S. Flask took the oath of office Tuesday afternoon. He seemed the logical choice as the owner of a tax service office, but had to win a vote for the position.

The auditor handles purchase orders and payroll for the city, and would like everyone in the office to be cross-trained.

“Certainly don’t want to miss a payroll or paying our vendors or anything else in this city. Want to make sure that if anything was to happen to anyone in this city that we wouldn’t miss a beat just the way that we’ve been operating,” Flask said.

Flask replaces Anthony Natale, who resigned after pleading guilty to a crime for sending white powder in the mail to his former employer.
