YPD: Suspects get away after front porch shooting at Youngstown home

According to a police report, the victims saw the men walking on the sidewalk in front of their Hudson Street home Monday night

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police are looking for two men who they say are involved in a shooting outside of a home while residents were sitting on the porch.

The suspects are described as black men, 25 to 29 years old. One is described as 5’8″ tall and the other is about 5’4″ tall. Police said they were wearing all black clothing at the time of the incident.

According to a police report, the victims saw the men walking on the sidewalk in front of their Hudson Street home around 11:40 p.m. Monday.

One of the victims said that one man began shooting at him, hitting the house and a nearby car, while bullets also went into a neighbor’s house.

Officers collected five shell casings on the sidewalk. Before officers arrived, police said one of the victims found a bullet in the house and another shell casing outside.
