One of the biggest messes Ohio Edison is working to cleanup is in Struthers where a utility pole snapped on Poland Avenue, which caused more than 1,000 customers to lose power.
Poland Avenue is still closed from Como Street to Helena Drive, although power has been restored. The road should be open by late Thursday afternoon.
According to the Ohio Edison outage map, there are only 7 customers without power in Mahoning County, 102 in Trumbull County and less than five in Columbiana County. Current outage information is available at http://outages.firstenergycorp.com/oh.html
