DELAWARE TWP., Pa. (WKBN) – A man from Mercer County is dead following a car crash early Friday morning.

The Pennsylvania State Police say Gerald Murray died at 1 a.m. when the Ford Mustang he was driving went off the road in Delaware Township. Police say the car then hit a guard and rolled into a group of trees.

Murray, who is from Mercer, was thrown from the car and died at the scene.

The cause of the crash was not released.
