CAMPBELL, Ohio (WKBN) – The boil alert for the City of Campbell has been lifted.

The boil alert went into effect Friday after a water main break at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and 6th Street closed one lane of Wilson Avenue.

Crews fixed the break on Friday night, but a precautionary boil alert was issued for the second ward of Campbell. That boil advisory was expected to be in place for 24 hours, but the city had to wait for water sample test results.
