William A. Boomhower, Youngstown, Ohio - obit

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – William A. Boomhower, 77, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon, with his family by his side.

William was born March 9, 1939, in Youngstown, a son of the late Arthur T. and Harriet D. Dugan Boomhower.

He was a 1957 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and retired in 2004 as the mill operator at Plant 3 for Hynes Steel.

William was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed golfing, bowling and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 57 years, the former Margaret J. Schuler; three daughters, Patricia Campbell of Youngstown, Gloria (Ken Vakasy) Dunlap of Youngstown and Delores (Brian Schell) Riley of Liberty; three grandchildren, Starr (Mike Lynn) Lynn, William (Audra) Boomhower and Christopher James; and six great-grandchildren.

There will be a private family service at a later date.

Arrangements are by the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
