WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – The U.S. Marshals Northeast Ohio Fugitive Task Force is looking for a man charged with a shooting in Warren.
Kardell Lowery, 21, is accused of shooting Don-Tay Johnson on Sunday. The shooting occurred at Highland Homes on the city’s south side.
Neighbors told 911 dispatchers that someone in a green van shot the 22-year-old man and drove off. Police said Johnson suffered a gunshot wound to the back, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
A warrant for Lowery’s arrest was issued on Monday. He is charged with felonious assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators describe him as a black man, approximately 5’11” tall and 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
