CLEVELAND, Ohio (WKBN) – Even though the convention this past week in Cleveland was political, the discussion eventually seemed to turn to sports.

Mike Mullen, from the North Hills section of Pittsburgh, threw a Terrible Towel as House Speaker Paul Ryan on Monday at a breakfast for the Pennsylvania delegation.

Mullen has been a delegate at the last four Republican National Conventions and wears different Pittsburgh sports attire every day.

When Donald Trump visited Pittsburgh recently, Mullen threw a Terrible Towel at him as well, and now Mullen has it framed.

Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians, was also a busy sports hub during the convention.

Located right next to Quicken Loans Arena where the RNC was being held, the stadium was open to everyone attending. People could sit in the stands to eat or relax.

The Nebraska delegation used the stadium as a backdrop for a group picture.

The stadium lights were even turned on at night.
