Windham man killed in motorcycle crash

Police believe speed was a factor in the crash

FREEDOM TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – A Windham man was killed early Friday morning after a motorcycle crash on Route 88, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Thomas Eskridge, 40, was traveling northbound on Route 88 just after midnight near the intersection of Route 303, when he went off the left side of the road and crashed into the Freedom Inn.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Eskridge was not wearing a helmet and speed was a factor in the crash, according to the Patrol.
