Keys on Offense
There is no doubt that the Trojans will be inexperienced at many positions on offense including at quarterback (without two-year starter Gage Gladysz) and minus their 1,000-yard rusher (Hunter Hause, 1012). There are pieces in place to keep their run near the top of the Region going. The Trojans will lean on their returners up front in senior tackle Dillon Hawthorne and juniors Josh Giardina (Guard) and Hayden Musser (Center). Junior running back Canyon Eells rushed for 14 touchdowns in 2015 while amassing 518 yards on 104 carries (5.0 ypc). Senior Ethan Reiser caught 40 passes for 670 yards (16.8 ypr) and 3 scores. Junior Michael Blaney also grabbed 10 tosses for 126 stripes.

Keys on Defense
Losing the likes of Matt Crawford (108 tackles), Gage Gladysz (91 tackles, 3 INTs), Casey Eells (58 tackles, 2 INTs) and Mason Horne (53 tackles) will be difficult to replace. The Trojans have a couple of linebackers who seem primed for a big campaign in Adonis Scriven and Michael Blaney. Scriven tallied 95 tackles and 4 quarterback takedowns a year ago. Blaney closed out the previous campaign with 28 tackles. Defensive end Brady Kalchthaler led Greenville with 7 sacks and he also had 63 tackles. Senior Ethan Reiser returns in the secondary at his free safety position (2 INTs). Junior linebackers Canyon Eells (20 tackles), Cody Tumpak (23 tackles) and Brendan Calvin (28 tackles) will be three players to watch following their solid sophomore years.

Final Analysis
Coach Herrick has fielded a consistent winner over the last three seasons (30-7) while seeing his group win at least one playoff game in each of the last four years. Can the Trojans reload for another run towards November?
