YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The gym at Youngstown’s East High School where Hillary Clinton held a rally Saturday night was filled to maximum capacity, as supporters filed in to hear the Democratic candidate’s speech.

Around 10:30 p.m., Clinton, Kaine and both of their spouses took the stage inside the gym at East High.

No one else was allowed inside the gym after 5 p.m. because it was completely full. While there was a small overflow room for the crowd, it would not hold everyone standing in line.

Barb Cisco, of Columbiana, and her husband were one of the last few let in, and they are standing in the back row. She said being at the rally was a historic moment.

“It’s a part of history. A woman running for president, possibly a woman in the White House, I just wanted to be here.”

Former Ohio Governor Ted Strickland was also in Youngstown on Saturday to support Clinton’s campaign. He is running for a U.S. Senate seat against Rob Portman this fall.

Strickland said he is happy to see Clinton in Youngstown, and expects more visits before the November election.

“Of course she’s running against Donald Trump and I’m running against Rob Portman…I’m happy to point out the difference between Trump and Hillary, and to point out the difference between Portman and Ted Strickland.”

Clinton and her running mate, U.S. Senator Tim Kaine, are embarking on a three-day bus tour through Pennsylvania and Ohio over the weekend. The tour will highlight Clinton’s economic vision for the country and how, in her first 100 days, she plans to make the largest investment in jobs since World War II.

The newly minted Democratic ticket is making Trump’s jobs platform a focus of their message, attacking his ability to help American workers.

Clinton and Kaine made a joint appearance in a speech at Johnstown Wire Technologies in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, earlier in the day. Before the speech, both took a tour of the factory with their spouses.

The first couple of stops of the bus tour were on Friday, just one day after Clinton accepted the nomination at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Clinton and Kaine made appearances in Harrisburg and Montgomery County in Pennsylvania.

They will hold another rally in Columbus on Sunday. Clinton has also announced a stop in Cleveland after originally cancelling a Cleveland appearance.
