Hubbard water conservation notice expires, boil alert still in effect

HUBBARD, Ohio (WKBN) – The City of Hubbard’s water conservation notice is no longer in effect, however, City Water customers are asked to continue boiling their water.

The boil advisory is ongoing due to repairs of a main transmission line. It began at 6 p.m. Monday and will be in effect until further notice, after laboratory tests confirm that the water is safe to drink.

Customers should boil their water for one minute before drinking, cooking or using to brush their teeth.

Only Hubbard City Water customers are affected.
