Keys on Offense
The senior combination of Luke Henwood (quarterback) and Marquis Altman (receiver) will be back together again for one last Fall season. Henwood completed 64.9% of his passes (61-94) last Fall while tossing for 15 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions. Henwood also rushed for three scores as well. Altman accumulated a yard per reception average of 23.6 stripes (19 catches, 449 yards) and 6 touchdowns. Henwood also returns a pair of juniors – Bobby Besser (11 catches, 194 yards) and Cameron Prebble (9 catches, 147 yards). Besser is the leading returning rusher as he toted the ball 55 times for 370 yards (6.7 ypc) and 5 scores.

Keys on Defense
Since September 2012, there has only been one team who has been able to post more than 20 points on Sharpsville during the regular season (Week 10, 2014: Greenville – 42). That’s mighty impressive to say the least.

Final Analysis
The winningest team in the area over the last two seasons (23), Sharpsville expects to be back in the District Final once again for the sixth consecutive campaign. In the new Region 2 alignment, the Blue Devils are also looking to finish the season with a third straight Region championship as well.
