PHILADELPHIA (AP) – Philadelphia’s mayor says the Democratic National Convention allowed the city to showcase its fun and friendly side.

Mayor Jim Kenney on Friday attributed complaints by outside media that the convention had poor logistics to crankiness. He says, “As far as worst convention ever? Hillary Clinton didn’t think so. The delegates didn’t think so.”

Police provided updated citation numbers following Thursday’s end to the four-day event.

City officers cited 106 demonstrators across 60 demonstrations held in the city with no repeat offenders. The U.S. Secret Service charged 11 people who crossed into the secure zone around the event.

A dozen officers were treated for injuries, which were mostly heat related.

City officials expect to complete cleanup efforts and resume normal city operations by early next week.
