ODOT releases road closures, detours beginning in Trumbull County

Traffic advisories are in place at several locations in Trumbull County

TRUMBULL COUNTY, Ohio (WKBN) – Construction season is already long underway, but even more construction is about to pop up in Trumbull County.

Traffic advisories have been sent out for the following locations:

Hubbard Thomas Road in Hubbard Township (Monday, August 1 until further notice) – Hubbard Thomas Road just south of Hubbard Masury Road will be closed through late October for a bridge replacement. The detour will be Hubbard Masury Road to State Route 7 to State Route 304 to Elmwood Drive Ext. The work is the beginning of a $900,000 project to replace the Hubbard Thomas Road bridge.

State Route 82 in Braceville Township (Monday, August 8 – Wednesday, August 10) – Beginning on August 8, SR 82 between SR 534 and Newton Falls Braceville Road will be closed through August 10 for a culvert replacement. The detour will be SR 534 to SR 5.

State Route 305 in Southington Township (Monday, August 1 – Wednesday August 3) – SR 305 between US 422 and SR 534 will be closed for a culvert replacement. The detour will be US 422 to SR 534.

State Route 88 in Bristol and Mecca Townships (until further notice) – SR 88 between SR 45 and SR 46 has various daily lane restrictions for resurfacing. This work is the beginning of a $2.5 million project to resurface State Route 88. The project also includes minor bridge repairs and the resurfacing of various areas within Mosquito Lake State Park. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by mid-October.
