YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – U.S. Marshals have arrested two suspects, charged with the death of a Masury man last month.
Akeem Brown, 26, was arrested at a Youngstown home on Shady Run Road at 2 p.m. Thursday. He is charged with aggravated murder.
Destaney Phillips, 21, is also charged with aggravated murder and resisting arrest in relation to the case.
Investigators say the charges are in connection with the murder of 51-year-old Anthony Bianco, who was found dead in a burning vehicle on the side of Seifert Avenue near Knapp Avenue. Police said Bianco had been shot.
Bianco had been released from Trumbull County Jail the day prior on theft charges, according to jail records. Police have not released a motive in the shooting.
Brown had been charged last week on drug trafficking charges, according to investigators.
