BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio (WKBN) – One man is dead after a vehicle rolled over in Boardman Township Saturday morning.

The accident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. on Sheridan Road south of Holbrooke Road.

Ohio State Highway Patrol said the driver, 21-year-old Raymond Johnson, of Boardman, drove off the right side of the road. They said that when he drove back onto the road, he went left of center and his vehicle flipped over.

The passenger, 21-year-old Johnathan Watters, of Youngstown, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Johnson was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.

Highway Patrol and Boardman Police and Fire are still investigating, but they believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
