Mom accused of leading Boardman police on chase pleads not guilty

Tabitha Lee pleaded not guilty to failure to comply, vehicular assault and endangering children

Tabitha Lee pleaded not guilty to two counts of failure to comply with an officer, vehicular assault and seven counts of endangering children.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A woman charged with leading police on a high-speed chase with four kids in the car appeared in court for her arraignment Tuesday.

Tabitha Lee pleaded not guilty to two counts of failure to comply with an officer, vehicular assault and seven counts of endangering children. Her bond was continued.

Boardman Police said she was pregnant in April when she led them on the chase after running an red light. The chase ended when she hit a telephone pole. The children were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

A trial has been set for 8:30 a.m. August 15 before Judge John Durkin.
