Scrappers rally for walk-off win in extras

The Scrappers improve to 23-27 on the season.

The Scrappers topped Batavia 9-6 in eleven innings Tuesday night.

NILES, Ohio (WKBN) – Mahoning Valley’s Todd Isaacs hit a 3-run home run in the bottom of the 11th inning to secure a 9-6 win over Batavia Tuesday night at Eastwood Field.

Isaacs finished the night 2-4 with 4 RBI’s.

Kenny Matthews picked up the win in relief for Mahoning Valley, tossing 2 2/3 innings allowing one unearned run on two hits with one strikeout.

Mahoning Valley improves to 23-27 on the season.  The Scrappers and Muckdogs continue the series Wednesday night.  Former Indians’ top draft pick Brady Aiken will be on the mound for Mahoning Valley.  First pitch is slated for 7PM.
