WARREN, Ohio – Ralph P. “Pete” DePietro Jr., 80, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Shepherd of the Valley in Howland.
He was born May 16, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Ralph P. Sr. and Lillian DePietro.
He was a 1955 graduate of Youngstown East High School. He retired from Plant Security at Packard Electric after thirty-two and a half years. Pete was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Warren.
He is survived by his wife Marlene DePietro who he married August 29, 1957, three sons Brion (Sharon) DePietro of Cortland, Greg (Kim) DePietro of Boardman, and Mark (Mary) DePietro of Canton, six grandchildren Matthew, Lauren, Michael, Sarah, and Nicholas DePietro, and Amanda Myers, one great grandson Ethan, a brother Frank DePietro of Youngstown and a sister Delores Liberato of Philadelphia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter Marissa DePietro and a brother Alan DePietro.
Family and friends may call Friday, August 12 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 13 from 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel 1884 North Rd. NE Warren, Ohio 44483.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Warren, with Rev. Bernard Schmalzried officiating.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Bazetta.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ralph’s name to St. Mary’s Restoration Fund 232 Seneca St. NE, Warren, Ohio 44481.
