Murder suspect indicted on charges related to Masury man’s death

The victim was found dead in a burning vehicle on the side of Seifert Avenue in Youngstown last month

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A grand jury indicted a suspect in the July murder of a Masury man.

Akeem Brown, 26, is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and having weapons while under disability.

He was arrested last week in Youngstown. Destaney Phillips, 21, was also arrested and charged with aggravated murder in the case.

Police said Brown was involved in the death of 51-year-old Anthony Bianco, who was found dead in a burning vehicle on the side of Seifert Avenue in Youngstown.

Investigators said Bianco had been shot.

Upon appearing in court, the bond for Brown and Phillips was set at $1 million.
