Youngstown man charged with sex assault of two teens

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Youngstown man was arrested after being indicted by a grand jury on seven counts of gross sexual imposition for the alleged sexual assault of two children.

Kevin Singleton, 62, is accused of sexually assaulting a victim who is now 14, beginning in September 2015, as well as a 15-year-old victim, beginning in November 2004.

He was arrested Friday afternoon by U.S. Marshals on the city’s northside. Singleton has since been placed on administrative leave from his job as a corrections officer at the Ohio State Penitentiary in Youngstown.

He was indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury on the charges Thursday.
