Marine Corps Reunion brings veterans together to reconnect

Hundreds of people gathered Saturday night for the 37th annual Marine Corps Reunion.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Hundreds of people gathered Saturday night for the 37th annual Marine Corps Reunion.

Each year, the reunion gives local marines and other veterans a chance to reconnect, meet other servicemen and women and share stories.

“It’s one of our big functions every year. We don’t do this to raise money or anything, we just want everyone to get together,” said Verne Gibson of the Marine Corps League.

Gibson said every man in the room is considered a brother, making it a very special night.
