Luther "Mick" P. Schwab, Warren, Ohio – obit

WARREN, Ohio – Luther “Mick” P. Schwab, 64, of Warren, Ohio, died August 13, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital.

He was born February 8, 1952 in Warren, Ohio, a son of Robert Patrick and Clara Paynter Schwab. He married Vicky Monti Schwab on May 20, 1999.

Mick, a life-long resident, was a 1970 graduate of Warren Western Reserve. He was employed as a sexton and head of the road department for Champion Township for over 25 years. In his younger years, he was a member of the Labor Union and Operating Engineer. He worked on many projects including the construction of the Eastwood Mall, General Motors Plant, and many local roads and bridges.

Mick and Vicky enjoyed over 17 years of marriage. He was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and his dog, Duke.

He is survived by his loving wife, Vicky Schwab of Warren, Ohio, son, Richard Schwab of Warren, Ohio, son, Michael (Kim) Schwab of Southington, Ohio, brothers, John (Joyce) Schwab of Warren, Ohio, and Robert “Skip” (Delleen) Schwab of Champion, Ohio, granddaughter, Mackenzie Schwab and grandson, Aidan Schwab. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Russell.

A Gathering of Friends will be held at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016.
