SHARON, Pa. (WKBN) – Volunteers are still needed for the second WaterFire Sharon event of the summer this Saturday.
Organizers need about 350 people to put on the event.
Volunteers help with tasks like directing traffic to parking areas, stacking wood and facilitating children’s activities. Shifts are two hours long.
The WaterFire Sharon events last summer drew about 60,000 people. Organizers say none of it would be possible without volunteers.
To sign up, visit WaterFire Sharon’s website. Additional information about volunteering, including descriptions of specific duties and what to wear, is also posted on the website.
