WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – On Sunday around 11:30 a.m. an officer was called to Jackson Street in Warren about a drive-by shooting.
A neighbor said they saw a man driving a newer model black SUV and shooting at the house. They said he then drove away toward York Avenue.
Another neighbor said he saw a black crossover vehicle drive by and head toward York, but was unable to see who was driving or how many were in the car.
The officer could not find the vehicle once he arrived.
The victim said he was sitting in the living room with his wife and two young children, 3 and 6 years old, during the shooting. At first, the victim thought his children were throwing fire crackers at the house.
There were four bullet holes on the front siding of the house, according to a police report.
One of the victims said his family minds their own business and has no problems with anyone.
The wife said that her brother was at their house and suddenly left shortly before the shooting. Police asked her if her brother has issues with anyone, and she said he rips people off all the time, according to the police report.
A bullet casing was found at the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Jackson Street. One of the children found another bullet in the bathroom.
