Struthers and Liberty football postponed to Friday

The Wildcats led 14-6 early before the game was called for weather Thursday.

Struthers, OH (WKBN) – The Struthers football team came out firing in their season opener, but Mother Nature rained on their parade and the game was postponed.

Play will resume Friday at 7 PM at Struthers High School. The Wildcats led 14-6 before play was suspended in the first quarter.

Regal Reese ran in a 34 yard touchdown and Willie Mitchell returned a kickoff for a score. Liberty’s Dra Rushton ran in a 5 yard touchdown for the Leopards.
