Browns waive Canfield grad Sean Baker

The first round of roster cuts were released by the Browns Monday morning. Canfield grad and Big 22 alumni Sean Baker is among those waived by the franchise.

Over the last 4 years, Baker has signed contracts with the Buccaneers, Falcons, and Colts. He played 5 games with Atlanta in 2014, and recorded two tackles.

Baker won 29 games during his high school career at Canfield, and recorded 90 tackles and 2 interceptions during his senior season. He was named to our first Big 22 team in 2006. Baker was a 4 year starter at Ball State, and finished his college career with a school record 18 interceptions.

The Cleveland Browns waived the following players today:

DB Sean Baker
TE E.J. Bibbs
WR Josh Boyce
K Travis Coons
WR Ed Eagan
FB Robert Hughes
TE David Reeves
OL Cory Tucker

Terminated the contracts of the following players:

QB Austin Davis
DL Nick Hayden
LB Paul Kruger

And placed on injured reserve:

DL Nike Lawrence-Stample (shoulder)
RB Glenn Winston (shoulder)
